Lynchburg artist David Eakin will be painting in and around Lexington the first week of October, along with many other local and neighboring painters - all part of the annual “Plein Air” event at Nelson Gallery. All artists are invited to take part with their own “on-site” paintings, rendered between Oct. 2 and Oct. 6. Everyone can see the results during a reception on Oct. 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the gallery. Concerned About Today’s ‘Would-Be Autocrats’
Sept. 21, 2023 Editor, The News-Gazette: What Hitler and his minority party admired about the U.S. of his time was referred to as “the U.S. model”: voter suppression, gerrymandering, immigration restriction of non-Aryans, mixedrace marriages outlawed, propaganda as education. It was hate wrapped in the flag. 09/27/2023 12:00 AM
