AT LEFT, competitors take to the arena for the best dressed cowboy and cowgirl contest. BELOW LEFT, Addison Gebhard of Fairfield competes in the barrel racing contest. BELOW RIGHT, Gracie Housden of Lexington rounds a barrel. BELOW BOTTOM, Koda Strikeleather and Craig VanVolten of Chesapeake take part in the team roping competition. The theme of this year’s Lone Star Rodeo tour was “God and Country.” (Joann Ware photos)

I certainly hope they make significant donations to the five departments involved in the rescue.
