Growing Community Service
The fifth annual community service of Lessons and Carols on Christmas Eve at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Glasgow drew its biggest attendance yet, 91 participants and audience members. The service featured a recorder ensemble, brass instrumentalists, and a new volunteer choir. The Rev. Dr. Bob Copenhaver, whose history with St. John’s spans decades, led the service, with Brandall Branch, as he has each time before. Following the service, a barbeque dinner was held in the adjoining parish hall.

General Assembly Returns To Work
The 2024 session of the Virginia General Assembly convenes today. Glenn Youngkin.

Not Much Winter Weather
