The Rockbridge County High School photojournalism class is having its annual movie fundraiser at Hull’s Drive-in on March 2. All money raised goes directly to the student-run publication of the RCHS yearbook, The Trivium. The cost is $15 for a car in advance and $20 a car at the gate. This year’s movie is “E.T. the Extra Terrestrial.” The gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the movie starts at 6:30. 02/20/2024 11:00 PM

The Virginia Wineries Association conducts the competition, now in its 42nd year, and is one of the most stringent wine competitions in the nation. The Virginia Department of Forestry joins fire departments across Virginia to announce spring fire season and raise awareness of the statewide burning law, in effect from Feb. 15 through April 30.
