Joyce Ann Reid, 80, of Buena Vista died May 7

Joyce Ann Reid, 80, of Buena Vista died Sunday, May 7, 2023, at her home.

Born Jan. 13, 1943, in Nelson County, she was a daughter of the late Harold Garber Ramsey and Lacey Inez Bradley Ramsey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, John Tucker Reid Jr., sons, Jeffery Dwayne Reid and James Anthony Reid, and sister, Elna Bradley Fultz.

Surviving are her children, John Harold Reid (Diana), Julia Angelia Reid Iversen (Carl), and Jason Leon Reid; sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Harris; brother, Hansford Garber Ramsey; 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be private.
