Kay departed from this world on Feb. 17, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and many amazing memories.

Charles Leo Bryant, 87, of Buena Vista went to be with the Lord Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, at his home.

Bobby Wayne Branham, 65, of Lexington, went home to Jesus on Feb. 16, 2024.

Gerald “Jerry” Lightle Irvine, 73, of Lexington passed away Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024.

A 2019 graduate of Virginia Military Institute, Capt. Jack Casey of the U.S. Marines Corps, was one of five Marines to die in a helicopter crash in California on Wednesday, Feb. 7, in California, during a training exercise.

Charlie Kurtz, who served as Parry McCluer High School’s head football coach in the mid-1950s and early 1960s, died on Tuesday, Jan. 30 in Roanoke. Kurtz, 90, had been living with dementia for about 10 years.

Mildretta Lynn Hunter, 67, of Glasgow passed away on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024, at Johnston Willis Hospital in Richmond.

Lewis D Jessee, 85, of Lexington died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024, at his home.

William M. “Pete” Wines, 89, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Feb. 9, 2024.

Sandra Wills Link made her transition to Heaven on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, with her family by her side.

John Lewis Branham Sr., 75 of Natural Bridge Station died Thursday, February 8, 2024 at University of Virginia Hospital. Born June 5, 1948 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late William Alexander Branham and Margaret Irene Thompson Branham.
