New Artificial Christmas Tree for Downtown Lexington

The six-man crew of Lexington Public Works spent a good portion of Tuesday morning assembling a brand new addition to our city's Christmas decorations. The 16 ft. tree, along with the 2 ft star-burst tree-topper, came pre-lit and was adorned with dozens of red bows which were made by Skip Hess, a local citizen and business owner. The tree will be lit by the mayor on Friday night, after the candlelight processional. Crew members: Trevor Montgomery, Scott Golden, Josh Hamilton, Allen Clark, Cody Taylor, and Chris Woody.
