FLOYD HILL

Floyd Alexanzer Hill, 88, of Natural Bridge Station died Monday, May 29, 2023, at his home.

Born Jan. 7, 1935, in Rockbridge County, he was a son of John William Hill and Irene Thompson Hill.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, John Stanley Hill.

Floyd was a member of Natural Bridge Christian Fellowship Church and retired from Burlington Industries with 42 years of service.

Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Fay Spangler Hill; and sister, Alma Reid.

A graveside service was conducted Thursday, June 1, at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens by the Rev. W. David Bain and the Rev. Nathan Phillips.
