Floyd Alexanzer Hill, 88, of Natural Bridge Station died May 29

Floyd Alexanzer Hill, 88, of Natural Bridge Station went to be with the Lord Monday, May 29, 2023, at his home.

Born Jan. 7, 1935, in Rockbridge County, he was a son of the late John William Hill and Irene Thompson Hill.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, John Stanley Hill.

Floyd was a member of Natural Bridge Christian Fellowship Church and retired from Burlington Industries with 42 years of service.

Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Fay Spangler Hill; and sister, Alma Reid.

A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 1, at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with the Rev. W. David Bain and the Rev. Nathan Phillips officiating.
