There is a $1 billion question looming over legislators – whether to approve tax cuts of this magnitude, or to boost spending by a similar amount for education, mental health and other basic services. After more than a month of working with representatives from Echelon Resources, Inc., the Spotswood Building Committee is presenting the new design for the proposed development on Spotswood Drive to the Lexington City Council at its meeting on Feb. 16. The changes in the design, shown in a view of the front of the building from the proposed parking lot (above) and from the corner of the building on Spotswood Drive (left), are primarily to the exterior aesthetics of the building.
