Just 10 Days Ago
Just 10 Days Ago
While temperatures are expected to climb to around 80 tomorrow, it was only about 10 days ago that a wintry mix produced ice on trees and grass in the higher elevations of the county. This scene was captured on U.S. 11 just south of Fairfield on Feb. 12. The ice brought down a number of tree branches, but otherwise did not cause any problems. The winter weather, though, did bring out VDOT crews that weekend to keep the roads clear. (Mary Woodson photo) 02/21/2023 11:00 PM
