Getting Treats From Trunks In Effinger
A large crowd turned out for the annual trunk-or-treat event across from the Effinger firehouse Saturday that is sponsored by seven Collierstown area churches. The cakewalk held during the event raised over $400 that went to the community’s Rise Against Hunger Meal program and the Challenger Baseball League for disabled children in Roanoke. The participating churches were the Collierstown Baptist, Collierstown Presbyterian, Collierstown United Methodist. Oxford Presbyterian, Mt.
