Sheridan House Demolished
Sheridan House Demolished
The Sheridan House located at 201 N. Randolph St. was demolished last week. The historic home was heavily damaged in a fire in February of 2016, after which it went through several owners while no repairs were made to the house. Earlier this year, a petition from citizens requesting that the city take steps to prompt some action, either to tear the building down or to repair it, was presented to the Lexington City Council. Owner Chy Clark submitted a request for demolition to the Lexington Architecture Review Board to demolish the building, which was granted. Clark this week declined to comment on future plans for the property. 12/19/2023 11:00 PM
In Memory
In Memory
We miss you every minute of every day. We hear your laughter, see your smile and those beautiful eyes that speak to you without a word spoken. Memories you gave us are now treasures, The second Christmas without you will be tears from missing you and laughing remembering our family times together. We will forever love you to the Moon and Back, Love, Dad, Mom, Maggie and Marley. Please advocate for our younger generations to be included in our Medical Necessity Scope of Care for all Cancer screenings. Cancer is a frightening word. But just as frightening and infuriating are hearing the words our medical standards for cancer screenings at younger ages have failed your loved one. Do not let your younger loved ones be the next ones to hear the word Cancer. 12/19/2023 11:00 PM
