On Sunday, Feb. 5, during the 11 a.m. worship service at the Collierstown Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Malcolm Brownlee conducted a service of installation for Judy Goodbar as she assumed the office of elder. She joins elders Rosalea Potter and Richard Davis in the class of 2024. Rev. Three popular local musicians will perform at Oxford Presbyterian Church this Sunday, Feb. 5, at 4 p.m. They are Julia Goudimova on the cello, Kevin Matheson on violin and Anna Billias at the piano. They will play romantic selections from Grieg’s famous “Peer Gynt” and Holberg Suite, one of Beethoven’s most celebrated chamber works, the “Ghost Trio,” and Grieg’s dramatic violin sonata No. 3.
