Davis and Baker Halls at Washington and Lee University along the south side of Washington Street have now been demolished as the university makes way for the new Williams School of Commerce building, which is scheduled to open in the fall of 2025. Rep. Ben Cline talks about his time in the Virginia House of Delegates and how different it is from serving in Congress at a meeting of the Breakfast Club last month at the Pink Cadillac Café. Cline was the most recent person to speak to the new organization, which has been in existence just over seven months. Previous speakers have included Del. Chris Head; Del. Ellen Campbell; Commonwealth’s Attorney Jared Moon; Rockbridge County School Board candidate Ann Russek; Virginia Institute for Public Policy officials; county treasurer candidates Michelle Clark and Missy Whitesell; and voting registrar Jackie Harris.
