Soggy But Fun Festival
Soggy But Fun Festival
The forecast was gloomy for the annual Rockbridge Beer & Wine Festival at Lime Kiln Theater Saturday, but that did not keep people away. Showers made the big tent a popular place to gather, but those who came prepared for the rain enjoyed the music of Little Marvin and the Martians in the Bowl Theater. The four local wineries were present at the event, as well as vineyards like Fincastle’s Virginia Mountain Vineyard. Food trucks supplied hungry festival attendees a variety of options including barbecue and wood-fired pizza. The event is organized each year by the Lexington-Rockbridge Chamber of Commerce.
