Woods Creek Run Benefits Local Youths

The fifth annual Woods Creek Run 4 the Kids benefit race welcomed 59 participants on Saturday morning, raising funds to cover intensive therapy costs for two local youths with cerebral palsy, 7-year-old Riven Welch and 13-year-old Alyssa Cornwell, who were present at the event. The moderately hilly 4-mile race started and ended at Waddell Elementary School, going on the Woods Creek Trail to the historic Miller’s House Museum at Jordans Point and back.
