Roy Frazier Fix, 70, of Buena Vista died Feb. 15

Roy Frazier Fix, 70, of Buena Vista, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023.

Born on April 17, 1952, in Rockbridge County, he was the son of the late Roller Hyde Fix and Hannah Moran Fix.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Belinda “Penny” Fix; sister, Frances Tishenor; and brother, Robert William Fix.

Roy is survived by daughters, Mary Ellen Fix Coleman and April Lynn Jones; grandchildren, Jonathan Coleman (Shandellia Conner), Zachary Coleman, Troy Coleman, Jr. (Kyrsten), and Logan Coleman; great-grandchildren, Brenden Cole Coleman, Troy Dale Coleman III (T3), Brock Edward Coleman, and Malachy Sabien Ramsey; one special nephew, Robert “Hobby” Fix; many nieces and nephews; and special lifelong friend and nit-wit sister, Apple Henson.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Monday, Feb. 20, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel.
