Robin Emanuel Duhamel, 71, of Lexington died Feb. 13

 

Robin Emanuel Duhamel, 71, of Lexington, formerly of Newark, Del., passed away Monday, Feb. 13, 2023, in Lexington

Robin was a recent transplant to Virginia, as she was born in Manhattan, N.Y., on March 8, 1951, raised in West Chester, Pa., and resided the majority of her life in northern Delaware.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Paul D. Duhamel of Lexington, and two daughters, Jan Fox (Henry Fox) of Lexington and Kristy Money (Nathan Money) of New Orleans, La.; three sisters, Anna Lee Chatty of Newport, R.I., Heather Emanuel (Roy Smith) of Smartville, N.Y., and Christina Ann Emanuel of Los Angeles, Calif.; sister-in-law Celeste Ryan (John Ryan); two grandsons, Oliver Fox of Lexington and Leland Money of New Orleans, as well as several cousins, nephews, great nephews and great nieces.

Robin was predeceased by her mother and father, Maud and Myron “Mike” Emanuel.

Robin graduated from Ellen Cushing Junior College and attended Lock Haven University. She worked for nearly 20 years as a customer service representative in the banking industry.

Robin’s truest joys were raising her twin daughters, laughing at her husband's antics, singing, doting on her beloved pets, and spending time with her extended family.

A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, Feb. 18, from 11 a.m. to noon at Harrison Funeral Home.

Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory.
