Rachel Lorraine Potter Lawhorne, 79, of Glasgow died June 11

Rachel Lorraine Potter Lawhorne, 79, of Glasgow died Sunday, June 11, 2023.

Born Sept. 4, 1943, in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Potter and Nattie May Patterson Potter.

She was also preceded in death by husband, Gomer Randolph Lawhorne, and son, Sammy Lawhorne.

Surviving are her three children, Elizabeth Moore, Woody Lawhorne, and Darrell Lawhorne; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 15, at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
