City of Lexington Notice of City Council Work Session Notice is hereby given that the Lexington City Council will hold a work session and lunch on Friday, September 22, 2023, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., held in the second floor meeting room of the Lexington City Hall, 300 East Washington Street, Lexington,to meet with Anne Lewis, Lead Recruiter with Baker Tilly, the local government recruitment specialists conducting the City Manager Search.

Following their work session, City Council also invites community members to meet briefly with Ms. Lewis and share with her your individual vision of what we should seek when hiring the new city manager. Without a reserved appointment, interested individuals may show up and hope to get a stand by appointment or leave their written input.

ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given per Section 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia and Section 808 of the County of Rockbridge Land Development Regulations (the Regulations) that a public hearing will be held by the Rockbridge County Board of Supervisors on Monday, September 25, 2023, at or after 6:00 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room in the County Administration Building, 150 South Main Street, Lexington, Virginia 24450 to consider the following application: 1) Rockbridge County, 150 South Main Street, Lexington, Virginia 24450, has made an application for a zoning text amendment to modify Section 603B.00: Agricultural Transitional (A-T) Zoning District of the Regulations. The proposed text amendments will provide forlicensed preschool/ childcare centers as Use by Special Exception in the A-T Zoning District. CITY OF LEXINGTON NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

AN APPLICATION BY THE CITY OF LEXINGTON PROPOSING A PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION PLAT (BOUNDARY LINE ADJUSTMENT) FOR PARCELS LOCATED AT 140 EVERGREEN PLACE (TAX PARCELS # 31 1-1) AND 108 EVERGREEN PLACE (TAX PARCEL # 25-1-9) IN LEXINGTON, VIRGINIA A public hearing will be conducted by the Lexington Planning Commission at a meeting to begin at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 28, 2023 in the first floor meeting room of the Rockbridge County Administrative Offices, 150 South Main Street, to allow persons to appear and present their views in response to an application by the City of Lexington requesting the application of a preliminary subdivision plat (boundary line adjustment) to adjust the boundary line to add a 1.855 acre portion of Tax Parcel # 31-1-1 to Tax Parcel # 25-1-9.

A copy of the application, case number PS 2023-05 is available for public review and examination between 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. in the Planning and Development Department located on the second floor of Lexington City Hall, 300 East Washington Street.
