Gerald "Jerry" Lightle Irvine, 73, of Lexington passed away Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024. 

He was born Aug. 18, 1950, in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Glenn H. Irvine and Etta Hartless Irvine.

Jerry retired from VDOT after many years of service and was a veteran of the United States Army.  He loved the outdoors and the beach.  Jerry was a man of few words but had a heart of gold.

Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Teresa Dixon Irvine; son, Jason Irvine; two grandchildren; two brothers, Glenn H. Irvine and Larry Irvine; mother-in-law, Betty Dixon; and special sister-in-law, Tamara.

At Jerry's request there will be no service.
