Eugene Edward Mullenax, 90, of Raphine died June 8

Eugene Edward Mullenax, 90, of Raphine died Thursday, June 8, 2023, at his home.

Born June 2, 1933, in Highland County, he was a son of the late Oliver Luther Mullenax and Elva Katherine Mullenax.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Doris Ann Runkle Mullenax; son, Eugene E. Mullenax Jr.; and siblings, Louise Marion, Katherine Lilley, Stella Collins, William A. Mullenax and Ralph Luther Mullenax.

Eugene began working for the U.S. Postal Service in 1969 where he later retired. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Moose Lodge and VFW.

Surviving are his daughter, Amy M. Richie and husband Dennis; and grandchildren, Paden and Hevyn Richie.
