Friday, May 26 – The curtain closed on the Parry McCluer High School baseball season with a 13-1 home loss to Galax in the Region 1C quarterfinals on Thursday evening in Buena Vista. The Blues finished the year at 13-9 overall, going 8-4 in the Pioneer District.
The Blues will miss their lone senior, Maison Hamilton, who was a shortstop and pitcher.
