Birding At Boxerwood Walk This Saturday
The Rockbridge Bird Club is sponsoring its last-of-the-season “Second-Saturday Birding at Boxerwood” event this coming Saturday, June 10. Everyone interested in birds is welcome, including first-timers and families, and all are invited to meet at 8 a.m. at the Nature Center parking lot (963 Ross Road) for a two-hour stroll.

Summer Teacher Institute Courses Offered By MGCC
Mountain Gateway Community College is hosting the annual Summer Teacher Institute, for area teachers to earn continuing education credits, beginning June 19. Ten twoday, one-credit courses will be held in Warren Hall on the MGCC Clifton Forge campus; one of the courses is being offered online, which began May 30. Several of the instructors are members of the faculty and staff at MGCC.
