Courts Update
The following individuals were indicted by a Rockbridge County grand jury on Nov. 6: Michael Olson, 30, for two counts of carjacking, one count of assault on a law enforcement officer, one count of attempted abduction, one count of felony property damage, one count of grand larceny of a motor vehicle and one count of receiving stolen goods worth $1,000 or more on June 27.

Farnham To Discuss ‘West Heads Home’
Local author Peter Farnham will talk about his new book, “West Heads Home,” on Thursday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m. at the Rockbridge Regional Library in Lexington Farnham will discuss issues based on themes in the book, such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and survivor’s guilt. He’ll take questions and do book signings.

His wife, Betty, had a bad fall recently and is in a nursing home for rehab. Our thoughts and prayers are with her and the family during this time.
