Oil paintings by Anne Walker are on display at the College Square Y Art Gallery in an exhibit entitled “The Color of Light.” This painting is called “Tea and Tulips.” A reception to meet the artist will be held Sunday, Feb. 5, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the YMCA. Performing At Oxford
Three popular local musicians will perform at Oxford Presbyterian Church this Sunday, Feb. 5, at 4 p.m. They are Julia Goudimova on the cello, Kevin Matheson on violin and Anna Billias at the piano. They will play romantic selections from Grieg’s famous “Peer Gynt” and Holberg Suite, one of Beethoven’s most celebrated chamber works, the “Ghost Trio,” and Grieg’s dramatic violin sonata No. 3.
