Charles Franklin “Peanut” Camden Jr., 81, of Lexington died Monday, Jan. 29, 2024, at his home.
Born Nov. 19, 1942, in Lexington, he was a son of Charles Franklin Camden Sr. and Frances Marie Mays Camden.
Mr. Camden was an owner of Camden Painting for many years and served his country in the U.S. Army for two years.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Ruby Ann Vest Camden, children, Charles David Camden, Raymond H. Clark, Roy L. Clark and Paula Y. Grant; sisters, Shirley C. Barns, Joyce C. Flint and Roby C. Hotinger; three grandchildren, five greatgrandchildren and one greatgreat- grandson.
No service will be held at this time.
