Theresa Nicole Poindexter, 40, of Lexington died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec. 11, 1982, in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Harold Wayne Poindexter and Nellie Wayne Cooper Rhodes.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Veronica Cooper.
She was a member of New Hope Church of God in Christ and was employed at Natural Bridge Hotel as a cook.
Surviving her are five brothers, Reginald Dandridge, Roland Robinson, Brian Poindexter, Antoine Wilson and Wayne Lamarr Poindexter; and two sisters, Shannon Mackey and Tamara Poindexter.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
