Eva Ruth Roberts Smith, 70, of Lexington, passed away Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023.
Born Dec. 19, 1952, in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Ray Hurley Roberts and Gracie Branham Roberts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sandy William Smith; brother, Hurley Ray Roberts; and sisters, Janet R. Compton and Peggy Ann Lipscomb.
Surviving is her son, Christopher Lee Smith; brothers, Melvin Roberts and James Edward Roberts; and sister, Barbara Jo Thurman.
A funeral was held Friday, Sept. 15, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Coleman officiating. Burial followed at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.
