Lexington City Council voted 6-0 to approve an extension of the lease for the Rockbridge Aquatics Center located on Wallace Street.
The pool is currently leased by Friends of Rockbridge Swimming from the city, with the current lease set to expire at the end of June 2024. The new lease will extend through June of 2028. The lease will allow FOR Swimming to continue operating the pool as they have. Leslie Straughan made the motion and Charles Aligood provided the second.
