A congregational meeting will be held after service at High Bridge Presbyterian Church on Nov. 22 to elect a slate of officers for the class of 2029 and approve the terms of pastor’s call.
Men’s group meets today, Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 5:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
The local Ruritans are having a cakewalk on Oct. 24.
The Rev. Jen Brothers, church leadership ministry specialist, Presbytery of the Peaks, led the worship service on Sunday, Oct. 28.
There will be an intergenerational fall fellowship luncheon after worship on Oct. 25 instead of trunk or treat this year. The deacons will be grilling and attendees are asked to bring a side or a dessert.
Natural Bridge/Glasgow food pantry board members meet Monday, Oct. 26, at 4 p.m. All supporting churches should send their voting members and interested guests are always welcome.
The food pantry will open promptly at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, and close at 11 a.m. They welcome donations of canned meat for the month of October.
