The W&L Law Federalist Society and The Spectator will host “Litigating Federalism: The Role of State Attorneys General at America 250” this Friday, Sept. 18, from 1:30 to 5 p.m. at the W&L School of Law’s Moot Court Room.
The event will feature two panel discussions on various areas of litigation in which state attorneys general’s offices are involved, along with networking opportunities and complimentary catered food.
Panelists will include the United States district judge for the Eastern District of Kentucky, S. Chad Meredith, former Alaska Solicitor General Jenna Lorence, West Virginia Deputy Solicitor General Caleb David, former Tennessee Deputy Solicitor General Clark Hildabrand, and former Virginia Deputy Attorney General Thomas Sanford, all Washington and Lee alumni, alongside former Virginia Deputy Solicitor General Graham Bryant and senior counsel for the director of the Federal Trade Commission, Michael Dingman.
