Paxton-Clearfield Engagement
Sarah Macon Paxton and Alexander Eric Clearfield, both of Washington, D.C., are excited to announce their engagement.
Sarah, a native of Lexington, and a graduate of the University of Virginia, is assistant director of academic programs at the University of Southern California’s Capital Campus in Washington. She is the daughter of Margaret Ann Paxton (nee Sawyer) and Matthew Paxton IV (wife Lynne). She is the sister of Ann Courtney Paxton of Charlottesville, and granddaughter of Mary Raine Paxton of Lexington.
Alex, a native of Voorhees, N.J., and a graduate of Johns Hopkins University, is an editor at Bloomberg Industry Group in Arlington. He is the son of Paula Clearfield (nee Weinstein) and the late Andrew Clearfield.
