A tree contractor will be removing a hazardous tree on W. Nelson Street Thursday, which will slow traffic through downtown from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Lexington city officials said.
The tree is between Borden Road and E. Denny Circle.
Flaggers will be directing traffic. City officials said motorists should expect delays.
