Thank you to Joann Blouin and Peter Lipsett for leading worship on Sunday morning at New Monmouth Presbyterian Church. We continue with our summer worship schedule with our service at 10 a.m. We will have a fellowship time with lemonade and cookies after church this coming Sunday. Stick around to chat with friends!
Thank you for your prayers for the mission team that traveled down to Baja, Mexico. A team of seven from New Monmouth along with nine others from the Shenandoah Presbytery flew into San Diego and then drove down to Baja to stay at a Youth with a Mission base. The mission team constructed a house for a family and spent time getting to know them (a couple with six kids). They also built bunk beds and furnished the house and were able to take the family grocery shopping. The week went smoothly and everyone arrived safely back home on Sunday. The team can’t wait to show you pictures and tell you about all the ways they saw God at work. The week was a great blessing.
Mark your calendars for the following dates in August: Lunch Bunch will meet Aug. 11 at 12:30 p.m. at Chick-Fil-A. Aug. 23 is the tentative date for the ice cream social and picnic at the creek. Aug. 30 will be Music Sunday followed by a fellowship luncheon at 11.
