The Rockin’ The Gorge music event is coming up July 25 with Little Marvin and the Martians taking the stage. The admission is free and gates open at 5 p.m., with the band taking the stage from 6 to 9. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. This will take place at Locher Pavilion.
A large crowd was in attendance at the monthly Town Council meeting. Allison Finchum has resumed her role as Town Manager, following a short leave of absence. Mike Finchum filled in while she was away. A number of folks were on the agenda to voice their concerns to the Council who decided to have a special work session later on to discuss those concerns. The meetings are now recorded and can be found online. There is a correction on some wording in a report concerning changes in members of the Planning Commission. Councilwoman Natalie Harris was stated as being “removed” from the committee. It should have read “her term of office ended”.
