At Faith Baptist Church, there will be a Ladies Circle meeting on July 13 at 10 a.m. Clothes closets and workdays will be held on July 13 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and on July 18 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. A men’s prayer breakfast will be held on July 15 at 8 a.m. Faith Baptist’s vacation Bible school is coming up July 27-31. Happy birthday to Faith Baptist members Wilmer Watkins, Kasie Moyers, Raegan Angle, Jonna Bostic, Kage Tomlin, Bonnie Jenkins, Bobby and Amy Hinkle, and Cracker and Lisa Funkhouser.
At St. John’s Episcopal Church, this past Sunday’s Morning Prayer service was led by Lynn Williams. Many thanks to her and to church musicians Bert Buford, Courtney VanOsten and Josh Gardner. Thanks also to Courtney VanOsten for hosting and providing refreshments for coffee hour. The Rev. Dr. Chip Prehn will lead a Holy Eucharist service this Sunday, July 12. Happy upcoming birthday to St. John’s Episcopal Church member Elaine Massie.
