The 100-degree midday temperatures did not keep people away from CornerStone Bank’s Fourth of July hot dog picnic lunch this past Thursday at the branch on North Lee Highway. To keep cool, attendees were treated to cups full of diced fresh fruit. A tethered hot-air balloon accepted passengers until noon and children were invited to play games for prizes.
