A celebration of life was held for Danny Snider on Friday at New Monmouth Presbyterian Church. Thanks to all of you who helped by bringing food for the reception. Please continue to keep the family in prayer.
Several members of New Monmouth are planning to participate in the mission trip to Baja, Mexico, sponsored by Shenandoah Presbytery. The mission trip dates are July 1118. The group (of about 20) will fly to San Diego and then drive down to Baja to join with Youth With A Mission to build a house for a family. They will be building a house for a family of eight.
Check out the Balloons over Rockbridge event this coming weekend. Half Brassed Brass Band (including Calvin Clark) will be playing Saturday and Sunday at the festival from 5:30 to 6 p.m. There are many other activities going on that are worth coming out for.
