Lake Robertson Campground’s Chapel has been the site of a weekly worship service for the park’s campers for 35 years. The services are coordinated and scheduled by the Effinger Ruritan Club. Volunteers are needed to assist and lead the services for the 2026 camping season. The 30-minute services are held 9-9:30 on Sunday mornings. Community church members and youth groups willing to volunteer to lead a service should contact Roger Lees by phone or text, (540) 7849000 with the Sunday dates they are available. Once there are volunteers a schedule will be prepared and posted at the campground’s office and store. Suggestions and materials are available for those interested in providing leadership for these weekly worship times.
