The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Rockbridge is seeking community members to help plan and support the 2026 event, which will be held on Aug. 29 at Central Elementary School. Volunteers, local organizations, and businesses are encouraged to get involved in making this year’s a meaningful and successful event.
The next planning meeting will take place on Thursday, May 21, at 6 p.m., and all are welcome to attend. The meeting will be held at Frank’s Pizza in Lexington.
“This is a great opportunity to share ideas, learn how to get involved, and be a part of honoring cancer survivors, remembering those we’ve lost, and fighting against the disease,” said Robin Moore, event chair.
“Relay for Life is built on community spirit, and we need your help to make the 2026 event unforgettable,” she continued. “Whether you want to form a team, sponsor the event, or help with logistics, your involvement truly makes a difference”.
