On Sunday, May 3, the Rev. Alan Adams led the 11 a.m. worship service at the Collierstown Presbyterian Church. During the worship service, Chase Pooley, son of Mike and Jennifer Kelly, was recognized by the Presbyterian Women as a member of the Rockbridge County High School class of 2026 who will receive his high school diploma in graduation exercises on Thursday, May 21, at Cameron Hall. Chase was presented with a personalized study Bible by the Presbyterian Women. Following the morning worship service, a reception and time of fellowship was held in his honor in the church’s fellowship hall.

The Night Circle of the Collierstown Presbyterian Church will hold its monthly meeting tomorrow, Thursday, May 7, in the fellowship hall at 7. A time of fellowship will begin at 6:15 p.m. followed by the Bible study. All are invited to join the group in person or on Facebook Live from the church’s Facebook page.

The Collierstown Presbyterian Church will have a photographer available to take photos of mothers and families on Sunday, May 10. Weather permitting, the photographer will be set up outside in the church yard. The church family is invited to bring their smiles and make special memories.

Rockbridge CAN (Connect and Nourish) will host a professionally catered community dinner served dine-in style on May 20 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Palmer Community Center located at 1230 Blue Grass Trail, Lexington. Be sure to save the date for good food and fellowship.

Community residents are reminded the Rockbridge Regional Library’s bookmobile welcomes patrons on the grounds of the Collierstown Presbyterian Church each week on Wednesdays from 2:15 to 4 p.m. Community residents are invited to visit the Bookmobile to check out books and learn more about the services available to residents and to the community.
