“Think of the press as a great keyboard on which the government can play.”
These two quotes could have come right out of Donald Trump’s mouth. He has used the media - particularly Fox “News” - as his own personal “keyboard,” “playing” his audience to the hilt with one fine-tuned lie after another.
But those quotes actually come from Joseph Goebbels, Hitler’s right hand man and head of his propaganda department. He harangued the German public with one piece of propaganda after another till all the lies he promoted became truth in the minds of the people. Fox News, acting as Trump’s propaganda department, sponsors Trump’s lies and broadcasts them as truth, to the point that Trump’s MAGA followers also believe them as truth. It is so important to see life as it really is. Trump lies about the economy - tells everyone it’s just great. But when the gas and grocery prices keep climbing, you know how big a lie that is.
A lot of Trump’s “propaganda” comes from one man -Stephen Miller. He is a white supremacist but born Jewish. It is said he is actually the reincarnation of Goebbels. If you have no understanding of reincarnation, it seems bizarre. But the law of karma states that we learn by “reaping what we sow.” He was a huge architect and supporter of Hitler’s final solution for the Jews. In this life he is experiencing life as one of the races he helped mass murder in the past. But it doesn’t seem he is learning his lesson, as instead of persecuting Jews (because he is one), he is persecuting other types of minorities.
