Women’s, Girls’ Tea Day Set At W&L
The Chanoyu Tea Society at Washington and Lee University will host a women’s and girls’ day tea on March 7 in the Japanese tearoom on W&L’s campus. Sweets and matcha tea will be served following a narrated tea demonstration.
There will be three 30-minute sessions at 10:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and noon.
Registration is required, and those wishing to attend should fill out a separate registration entry for each member of their party. Since seating is limited to 20 participants per session and there is no automated waitlist, registrants are asked to cancel their reservations if their plans change.
