The Friends of the Chessie Trail welcome the young and the young at heart to a fun and educational scavenger hunt this Saturday, Feb. 21, at 1 p.m. on the Chessie Trail.
The event will be led by Master Naturalist John Maluski, and begins at the Lexington side of the trail. The parking area is on Old Buena Vista Road.
Participants are encouraged to dress warmly, bring a water bottle and their “eagle eyes.”

The mission of the Friends of the Chessie Trail is to foster strong communication among Chessie Trail stakeholders, to advocate for the community’s vision for the trail, and to organize citizen support for a well-maintained and safe trail.
