NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD FOR PROPOSED CHANGES TO ELECTION PRECINCTS AND POLLING PLACES
Notice is hereby given that the Rockbridge County Board of Supervisors has set a public comment period for proposed changes to certain County election precincts and polling places.
Public Comment Period: February 6, 2026—March 13, 2026 Description of Proposed Changes: Amend the Rockbridge County Code in Chapter 11 – Elections, To Incorporate the Rockbridge Baths Precinct into the Rockbridge Precinct in the Walkers Creek Magisterial District – To Incorporate the Vesuvius Precinct into the Fairfield Precinct in the South River Magisterial District – To incorporate the Ben Salem Precinct into the Airport Precinct in the Buffalo Magisterial District – To Incorporate the Falling Spring Precinct into the Natural Bridge Station Precinct in the Natural Bridge Magisterial District; and to Relocate the Polling Place for the Meadowview Precinct in the Walkers Creek Magisterial District from Faith Mountain Baptist Church to the Rockbridge County High School; and to Relocate the Polling Place for the Fairfield Precinct in the South River Magisterial District from the South River Fire Department to the Fairfield Elementary School; and to Relocate the Polling Place for the Mountain View Precinct in the South River Magisterial District from Kelly Hall, Neriah Baptist Church to the Mountain View Elementary School; and to Relocate the Polling Place for the Airport Precinct in the Buffalo Magisterial District from the Lexington Baptist Church to the Maury River Middle School; and to Relocate the Natural Bridge Station Polling Place in the Natural Bridge Magisterial District from the Natural Bridge Christian Fellowship Hall to the Natural Bridge Elementary School; and to Relocate the Polling Place for the Vo-Tech Precinct in the Kerrs Creek Magisterial District from the Life Chapel Church to the Rockbridge County High School; and to Incorporate a Map Showing the Boundaries of Said Districts and Precincts.

ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given per Section 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia and Section 808 of the County of Rockbridge Land Development Regulations (the Regulations) that the following public hearing will be held by the Rockbridge County Board of Supervisors on Monday, January 26, 2026, at or after 6:00 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room in the County Administration Building, 150 South Main Street, Lexington, Virginia 24450 to consider the following application: 1. R.P. Fralin Inc., 5211 S. Concourse Drive, Roanoke, Virginia 24019 has made an application for a conditional zoning map amendment. The property is owned by John W. and Christine A. Fix and is located on the west side of N Lee Highway (Route 11), approximately 0.26 miles west of the intersection of N. Lee Highway and Northwind Lane (private road). The property is accessed by Northwind Lane and is currently zoned General Residential (R-1), with conditions. The property is identified as tax map number 6214-A2 (18.94 ac. per tax records). The application is to conditionally rezone a 12.44-acre portion of the property to the Residential Mixed (R-2) Zoning District, with acceptance of proffers.
