My favorite holiday movie is how the Grinch Stole Christmas. My reasons are: number one is that the movie is based on a Christmas story. Second, is that the movie is showing us the true meaning of Christmas when they had no presents and no decorations. My last reason is that even though the town loves Christmas it is a great movie for all of us to show us that you don’t need presents and decorations. This is why I love it because it is how the Grinch Stole Christmas is a great movie. Channy Tomlin Fifth grade, MVE My favorite holiday movie is the Home Alone 2. It is funny because the wet bandits. My second reason is because one of the wet bandits looks like my dad. Finally the kid is way smarter than the wet bandits. I love, love, love, love, love this movie. I also like it because the characters are always doing stuff you can’t do in real life, like walking on top of a train or going to the North Pole to see Santa. The last reason I like it is because my favorite holiday is Christmas. That is why I love the Polar Express. Keathyn Wood Fifth grade, MVE My favorite holiday movie is Santa Clause 3. It shows the spirit of Christmas. Some parts are sad and some parts are happy. It shows a lot of different emotions and I like that. I like that Jack Frost is super funny and cheerfull. I love The Grinch because it is a family friendly movie. It shows that it’s better to be kind instead of being greedy like when he steals the presents. They’re still happy and singing around the Christmas tree with laughter and cheer. In the movie, he finds out it’s not the present that Cindy Loo Hoo wants. She wants her mom to have the most special Christmas she’s ever had, because she works so hard tending to Cindy Loo Hoo and her 2 brothers and she looks exhausted all the time. Cindy Loo Hoo wishes she could do something to make her mom’s Christmas the best Christmas she has ever had.
That is why I love the movie The Grinch. Mary Ramsey Fifth grade, MVE My favorite holiday movie is Christmas Chronicles because the girl and boy stay up to catch Santa Claus. Secondly the girl and boy ride the reindeer. Lastly the girl and boy ride with Santa Claus in his slay. Evelynn Hayes Fourth grade, MVE My favorite holiday movie is Home Alone. I like the way that they made it because it would be more funnier than watching him run around in a mall or store. It is also good for Christmas because you can also have a good time watching it with your family. I like how he sets up traps and plans to make sure nothing happens. For example, the neighbor hits the guys on the head and knocks them out because he was chasing him and his neighbor got revenge on the guys.
That is why I like Home Alone during winter or not. The second reason why is because in the middle of the movie he screams in his cave and it echoes back at him. And my third reason is me and my parents and my sister love to watch it together.
