Included in this issue of Flashback Friday, from a December issue of The Rockbridge County News in 1925, are many excerpts and ads for the Christmas season.
Whether you or your family celebrate Christmas or not, this global holiday is celebrated in a myriad of ways around the world. 100 years ago, The Rockbridge County News reported not only how this area celebrated, but other countries as well.
It also included the entire poem "The Night Before Christmas" on the front page.
The decision was made to organize the excerpts in collage form this time because the print of the older papers is so small and condensed. This format hopefully makes it easier to read.
