Dec. 12, 2025 Editor, The News-Gazette: How long has it been since the rightful recipient of Christmas has not been celebrated for His birth?
Jesus’ birth was the beginning of the celebration of Christmas. That was why it was celebrated. Man had no right to change it. It was to be celebrated until the end of time just like any other human being. Jesus was born to die (He was God in human form), then to be crucified, resurrected back to life and go back to Heaven.
We need to make a reservation to be accepted into Heaven while we are still alive. The soul never dies.
Only the body goes to the grave. If you deny his birth and resurrection you will never have a place in Heaven.
Will the real Christmas ever be brought back to celebration? I’m afraid not.
